"KONIEC ŚWIATA NATALKI"

Documentary

reż: Anna Urbańczyk

This is Natalka - a resolute nine-year-old, the narrator of this Silesian story. He lives with his family in the small village of Nieboczowy, which practically disappears from the map in 2020 - all residents are relocated due to the area being designated for the construction of a retention reservoir. As these areas were often subject to flooding, a sentence was passed on the village after the millennium flood. The inhabitants, some of whom have spent their entire lives in the village, have to leave their houses, and after emptying them of all their belongings, they are razed to the ground. For some people it is the private end of the world.
